@lucidity: CrazyMe can say whatever. We all have our own opinions, but I was the person who posted about Megaplay. I was the one who watched a little girl pee in the ball pit, told management after I snatched out my kids, and sat there for 20 minutes waiting to see if they would do anything. They didn't. I'm sorry but watching kids throw balls at one another then wipe their hands on their pants because they were wet and go on wiping their mouth, eyes, faces....yeah. I'm not going back. If you do check it out, avoid the ball pit is my best advice.

In the winter, a lot of the fun outdoor things go away, but they will be back this spring. We have really enjoyed just getting in the car, packing sort of general stuff for us and the kids and find somewhere off the beaten path, such as an out of the way park where the kids can play or a little easy to hike path. That has been the best experience. Definitely do some day trips to some small towns - there is a lot of great stuff to see and do in Beiruit. Since it's a short drive you can plan it inbetween mealtimes on a Saturday/Sunday.

Yes, that's true, I forgot that about thoses shelters.
But, hey, they can still find plenty of pets on Graf Yardsales !!! Specially around PCSing time, wooo, it's a Black Friday on pets, people suddenly realize they are PCSing and they are going to pay to have their pet shipped !
I'm being sarcastic I know ... I'm sure there are very good pet "owners" (I hate this word though, as if animals were things) around here, but it just saddens me so much to see all these poor pets on the Yardsales page ...

I agree with a1639983uu above.. That is the one thing I love about NOT living in housing.. I'm not exposed to people talking about other people's business. The opportunity cost of NOT living close to post is, we spend more $$ on gas and time on the road driving to post.. oh well, happy new years everyone!

yes it is but even so they could've talked about it during working hours anyway, so no harm done there. I never understood the whole fraternization stuff anyway, in my off time I should be able to spend time with whomever I wish to.Back in the day nobody gave a care, I remember having my husbands Cpt and 1SG over for a New Years Eve party,who cared ?! Only people I see caring are all these rank pulling spouses.

Nice. Forgot to mention all of my extras! We are pretty much game for anything besides clubbing/drinking/partying like it's 1999 - and yes - family oriented.

I used to pay $150 a month for my car now I pay $50 with the same provisions. Call Marc from Allianz he literally is a genius in insurance and takes his time to explain everything in plain English

Eh, she did finally respond (see other lost kitty chain on this board), but it turned out it was not her kitty. I have almost decided the other kitty is not homeless and is, instead, one of the animals allowed to roam Netz and climb all over people's vehicles. I don't see him every day since it got cold, and he came by on Christmas to beg for some ham (which we gladly gave him), and he was so fat and furry. He looked well cared for, so I'm not stressing it anymore.

There is a train station in Freihung and one in Pressath - they have regular runs to Weiden, and from there to Regensburg.

The bus leaves from Graf to Weiden, then the train to Weiden.
